Vacancies

The City Council of the City of Woodland Park is accepting applications from persons who are interested in serving as a member on the City’s Planning Commission. There is one position open with regular terms on this Commission. Interested applicants must meet the requirements for the opening; must be at least eighteen years old; a City resident for not less than one year and possess qualifications that are compatible with the Commission's purpose and authority. Applicants must be available to meet on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month in person or virtually.

Overview

The Planning Commission is a nine-member advisory board established to assist the City Council in providing for orderly development within the City of Woodland Park. The Planning Commission conducts public hearings related to new subdivisions, zoning changes, conditional use permits, flood hazard development permits, and changes to the Subdivision or Zoning Regulations. The Planning Commission is also charged with preparation and amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
