Unified Development Code

Titles 16, 17, and 18 of the current City of Woodland Park Municipal Code are being restructured into a single code for easier use. These portions of the City of Woodland Park Municipal Code, which address how land is subdivided and developed, have not been comprehensively reviewed since the early 1990s. The proposed code will be known as the Unified Development Code, or UDC. Within the proposed document, revisions include language that is clearly defined and uniform, outdated terms have been updated, and application procedures have been clarified.

City Council Public Hearing:  

The City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers (220 W. South Ave, Woodland Park, CO) to consider the adoption of Ordinance 1521, Series 2026.  This proposed ordinance will repeal Title 16 Mobile Homes, Title 17 Subdivisions, Title 18 Zoning, and Section 5.24 Wireless Communication Facilities, of the Woodland Park Municipal Code and reestablish and adopt said regulations as the Unified Development Code for the City of Woodland Park, Colorado.  

This proposed ordinance will adopt by reference the seven (7) chapters of the Unified Development Code. Each chapter is an exhibit attached to the ordinance document.  The proposed ordinance document and each of the seven chapters can be viewed by clicking on the following links:
