Beginning in March 2025, the Colorado Department of Transportation began a new project impacting Highway 67 in Woodland Park. The project scope includes mobility and safety improvements, as well as widening CO 67 from County Road (Evergreen Heights Drive) to West Kelley’s Road from two to four lanes with a shared turn lane. The original completion date for this project was expected to be October 2025, with an updated projection of Summer 2026. This project is weather-dependent and expected to face a winter shutdown period.
A second CDOT project will run concurrently with the widening project, beginning October 9, 2025. This project will impact Hwy 67N from the intersection of US Hwy 24 through Evergreen Heights Dr. / County Rd. The project scope includes milling, paving, and permanent striping. This project is weather-dependent and expected to run through November 1, 2025. Travelers can expect daily detours, which may vary from day to day. Signs will be posted.
