Beginning Friday, July 11, and continuing through Sunday, July 20, Team Rubicon will be conducting fire mitigation at Avenger Open Space as part of the Colorado Strategic Wildfire Action Program. Team Rubicon will have a crew of approximately 30 team members working at Avenger Open Space during daylight hours throughout the project period. While Avenger Open Space will not officially close during this time, the parking lot will be inaccessible to allow for crew and equipment access. We encourage the public to consider choosing an alternate local trail or visiting the space during non-operational periods. For your safety, please stay on the designated trail and keep pets leashed.
