4th of July Flyer

Celebrate America’s Independence Day in Woodland Park at the Old Fashioned 4th of July!


The community is cordially invited to the annual Old Fashioned 4th July Celebration at Memorial Park. The star-spangled festivities will take place from 9AM to 3PM on July 4th. After your fill of watermelon eating and friendly competitions, find a cozy spot in the park to set up your favorite blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the Symphony Above the Clouds! Gates open for the musical melodies at 5pm, and the concert is free for the whole family! 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR OLD FASHIONED 4TH OF JULY:

Memorial Park Small Pavillions Activities & Events:

  • Face Painting (by Twinkles the Clown)

  • Art Projects (sponsored by Reserve Our Gallery)

  • Karate Activities (sponsored by Kenpo Karate

  • Additional family-friendly activities sponsored by the Rotary Club and Charis Bible College

Memorial Park Grass Activities & Events:

  • 9:30AM    Fishing Derby

  • 2:00PM    Sack Races

Memorial Park Large Pavilion Activities & Events:

  • 7:00AM    Sunrise Yoga

  • 9:30AM    Mountain Eire Dancers

  • 10:00AM    Pie Eating Contest

  • 11:00AM    Line Dancing Above the Clouds

  • 12:00PM    Flag Presentation

  • 12:30PM    Karaoke

  • 1:00PM    Watermelon Eating Contest

Additional Activities for all ages include gold panning, a thrilling dunk tank, and the opportunity to see various emergency response vehicles!
