June is racing season in the Pikes Peak region! In recognition of their legendary contributions to the world of racing and the local Pikes Peak Hill Climb, the City is proud to announce that Thursday, June 27, 2024, is Vahsholtz Family Day in Woodland Park! To mark the occasion, the community is cordially invited to join the Mayor, the City Council, city staff, and the Vahsholtz family at City Hall for a free, family-friendly meet-and-greet event!
The event begins at 5:30 PM outside City Hall at 220 W. South Avenue, Woodland Park, Colorado. At 6:30 PM, guests are invited to attend the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, where the Mayor and Council will announce the official Proclamation. The Council and guests will be treated to a display of racing photos and video clips, highlighting some of the most memorable moments in Vahsholtz family racing history.

- View an official team race car!
- Take a selfie in our Winner's Circle!
- Games and activities for kids!
- Mingle with friends, neighbors, and fellow racing enthusiasts!

- The public is invited to attend the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, where the Mayor and Council will read an official Proclamation declaring Thursday, June 27, 2024, Vahsholtz Family Day! Guests can enjoy viewing a collection of photos and video clips highlighting career race moments and Pike Peak Hill Climb footage from years past.
The Vahsholtz Family has significantly contributed to the racing world and the Woodland Park community, and the City of Woodland Park is proud to recognize their achievements.
