Join us for the beloved Lights Above the Clouds Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th at 6:00 PM, celebrating this year’s cheerful Charlie Brown theme. The parade will move along Highway 24 from Hwy 67 to E. Grace Avenue, filling our mountain town with twinkling lights and hometown joy.
This year’s parade ends with a bang—literally! As Santa nears the end of the lineup, a brilliant fireworks display will launch from the Tava property, creating a dazzling finale to the evening’s celebration. Can't make it to the parade? Keep your eyes to the southern skies to catch the show from the coziness of your own home.
- Please note - US Highway 24 will be CLOSED in both directions just prior to the parade starting at 6:00 PM. Additionally, the City will have several closures in place for intersecting streets along the parade route for safety.
After the parade wraps up, the fun continues at the Ute Pass Cultural Center for the official Awards Ceremony! Kick the fun up a notch by participating in the annual Crazy Hat Contest! Soothe your sweet tooth with festive beverages and treats! Cheer on your favorite float with a vote to win prizes! Have fun jingle-mingling with your friends and neighbors!
Are you someone who enjoys an element of surprise during the holiday season? Don't forget about the Lights Above the Clouds annual Treasure Hunt!
