59th Annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration!

The community is invited to the annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration at Memorial Park. The star-spangled festivities will take place from 8 AM to 3 PM. Join your friends and neighbors for games, vendors, food, beer, and margaritas! This year, the festivities include two "add-on" activities: the Arts & Craft Market and the Children's Entrepreneur Market, from 8 AM. - 1:PM

After a fun-filled day of watermelon-eating contests, sack races, and dunk tank shots, find a cozy spot in the park to set up your favorite blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the Symphony Above the Clouds! The festive concert starts at 5:30 PM. All are welcome. 

EXCITING NEWS! The City of Woodland Park is happy to share that we will be having FIREWORKS on July 4th! Fireworks will be loaded from the Woodland Park High School grounds. The main parking lot will be open; however, the grounds of Woodland Park High School, Woodland Aquatic Center, and  Gateway Elementary will be CLOSED for safety. Fireworks will begin just after sunset on July 4th, weather and wind permitting. The City is working closely with the NE Teller County Fire Protection District and Fire Chief, Tyler Lambert. Should the weather impact the show, the City will make announcements to the community as early as possible.

  • 3 on 3 Basketball
  • Karaoke
  • Line Dancing
  • Tug of War
  • Sack Races
  • Fishing Derby
  • Dunk Tank
  • All American Costume Parade (NEW)
