Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering for your City is one of the best ways that you can give back to your immediate community...and make a big impact! The City is always looking for individuals to volunteer on boards and committees, in recreation programs, and during special events.

Open Volunteer Positions

Adopt a Garden & Community Clean Up

Every spring, residents and organizations are given the opportunity to adopt a garden (flower bed) in Woodland Park. Our Facilities & Grounds team provides the flowers, tools, and suggested planting patterns. The Keep Woodland Park Beautiful Committee helps to organize and support the Adopt-a-Garden program. Volunteers are asked to plant the flower beds and to pull weeds in their garden throughout the season.

Keeping our community clean and pristine is an ongoing project. The City welcomes volunteer groups for community clean-up opportunities! Reach out to us to explore opportunities to help!

Contact the Communications & Marketing Manager and Keep Woodland Park Beautiful staff liaison Kristen Higginbotham at khigginbotham@woodlandpark.gov to learn how you can help!

Boards, Committees, Commissions

The City seeks volunteers to serve on various boards, committees, and commissions. These are opportunities for residents to use their unique insight and experiences as participants in city government.
