Public Works Department
When you visit the welcoming mountain community of Woodland Park, with its scenic streets, beautiful parks, and inviting open spaces, you will enjoy some of the services the Public Works Department provides.
Responsibilities
The Public Works Department maintains all City infrastructure and assets, including streets, drainage systems, field services, and GIS asset mapping. The Department is also tasked with overseeing the design and construction of all new projects developed by the City.
Structure
The Department comprises 16 employees within five unique Divisions, all working together to deliver excellent customer service and provide and maintain sustainable infrastructure and recreational facilities for the benefit and enjoyment of our community and visitors.
The Public Works Department consists of the following divisions:
- Construction Inspection Services
- Engineering and Administrative Services
- Street Maintenance
- Field Services
- GIS Mapping
